If you have a special, one-of-a-kind project, let us know, and we’ll find a solution. Our stone cutting fabrication is suitable for a variety of applications. We fabricate sills, lintels, jambs, doorway and window thresholds, quoins, entries, copings, caps, piers, fireplace surrounds, pavers, hearths, curbing, and more.
While our specialty is Indiana Limestone, our expert fabricators can also fabricate a wide range of exotic limestones, sandstone, bluestone and travertines.
Out of all the natural stones available for use in construction projects, limestone is considered the best choice in America. For example, the Empire State Building and the Pentagon are constructed from Indiana limestone. Plus, many other significant landmarks, like the National Cathedral and the Statue of Liberty, also feature limestone.
There's just something about the beauty, durability, and timelessness of limestone fabrication that can't be matched by any other material. Sure, you can get stone that looks like cut limestone blocks, but it won't have the same long-lasting qualities.
As a premier provider of custom stone cutting services, Stone Center can help you choose the perfect Indiana limestone for your project. Our stone cutters specialize in cutting and fabricating this type of limestone. We have a wide range of Indiana limestone products available in a variety of colors, sizes, and textures. If you’re not sure which type of limestone is right for you, our experts can help.
A cut-to-size project is only as good as the installation. Stone Center’s team of certified installers has the experience and expertise to get the job done right. After being in this business for 70 years, we've learned a thing or two about custom stone cutting.
A polished finish on limestone creates a beautiful sheen on the stone that highlights the natural colors and patterns. Polishing also smooths the surface of the stone, making it more resistant to stains. However, polished finishes require regular maintenance and can be slippery when wet.
A honed finish is similar to a polished finish, but it has a softer luster. Honing also smooths the surface of the limestone, but it does not create as high of a shine. This makes it a good choice for areas that get a lot of traffic or for those who want a low-maintenance option.
A brushed finish is created by using a wire brush to texturize the surface of the limestone. This creates a rough surface that helps to hide imperfections and wear over time. Brushed finishes are often used on the flooring because they provide good traction and are easy to clean.
Stone Center uses time-honored hand-carved methods in addition to cutting-edge Computer Numeric Control (CNC) artistry to create beautiful limestone structures at an affordable price.
While some companies use lower-quality machines that require constant repairs and produce subpar results, we have a specialized process to get the job done professionally.

Bill was very helpful. He explained things we didn't know about sealing our stone and how to care for it in the future. Lots of personal attention. We know a lot more than we we came in!

The cost for cutting stone depends on the scope of the project and the stone’s application. We can only provide an accurate quote once we understand the specifications of your project. Contact us here to find out more.
At Stone Center, our team takes pride in providing superior workmanship and high-quality natural stone that lasts a lifetime. Our stone products do not come with a warranty.
We can adjust the size and shape of the products from our inventory; however, our fabricators will always keep design specifications in mind and won’t alter the size or shape if it compromises the structural integrity of the stone or the project's longevity.
Stone cuts should be about 2 ⅜ inches thick on average. However, this size depends on the materials the pavers are laid on and their application. For example, driveway pavers are generally thicker than those used for patios, as they have to accommodate vehicle weight.
